Every day we are growing hair and losing hair. It's part of the natural hair growth process! However, if too much hair is falling out in the shower or found in the brush than something should be done!
One treatment idea is to look for bacteria, fungal or viral bacteria at the scalp. If bacteria is present at the roots, then new hair folicles will be affected. There can be inflammation of the root and new hair will not be able to emerge from the scalp.
One possible solution would be to use Black Seed Oil. This is a natural anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It reduces inflammation by correcting the source of the bacteria!

Whenever a person's hair, skin or nails are not growing properly, it is best to look at nutrition. Making some healthy adjustments to the diet might be the answer in itself. Getting rid of junk food would be one step!
Another thought that comes to mind that I can share is to work a segment of meditation into the day! Taking some time out, to put your feet up and relax. Possibly using the serenity prayer, is a way to shed some of the anxieties of a hectic day!
