Hey Buttercups!!!
Learning Disabilities Come With Consequences!
Only in the past two years (maybe less) have I come to understand
that I have a learning disability, and it is a disability!
It is my intention to champion this as a cause because
I fully understand
what it is to live with this and all of,
if not
a lot of the implications of living with it! There are consequences to
every disorder or disability, or disease, and this is
no exception. For one thing, I know what it is to be
thought of as *stupid, and to feel as if you
are stupid. I understand this. There are some

deeper consequences, and today, I know what one of them is, that would
be experienced as an adult; in particular and it's not a pleasant one. I'm not
going to get into it now; but I would like to introduce
this. For me in life now, I actually believe that
I am lucky to understand all of this and to be able
to actually know what has been happening.
I believe that many people go through their entire lives
and never figure their way thorugh or around it. I have.
I am~
But that is a whole other story! It's not easy.
Truly I am blessed in this and I would like to help others
at least by bringing some attention to the topic.
As usual, related articles and sometimes a video are below!

*By the way!
People with learning differences are not stupid! It has nothing to do with intelligence.
I can learn anything but not the way that others do.
I only learned this as an older adult!

On another note!
I take Apple Pectin any time of day, starting with one per day, then two per day at meals. But it can be taken without food. Vitamin D3 is an oil vitamin, so it needs to be taken with food. ~~~Nancy

Managing Social-Emotional Issues of Adults with Learning Disabilities!
"It’s important to start out with the reminder that although a learning disability (LD) is a life-long condition, that does not mean that it’s a life sentence. With increasing frequency, adults have found success in navigating a world lived through the lens of a learning disability, either in spite of it, or more importantly, because of the LD. A learning disability has certain common features, but it shows up in different people in different ways. This is especially true in adults .."
