We can help!

Bridges to Discovery are transitional housing facilities
for both men and women!

Bridges to Discovery the Opal House is in need at this time, as they are expanding!
The Women's House is in need of help with their heating cost,
and a Men's house is under construction and near completion!

Bridges to Discovery is a non-profit endeavor that serves Northeast OH!
The Opal House aka Bridges to Discovery, provides housing for men and women who have completed a drug/alcohol treatment program!
Located in Ashtabula County, Northeast Ohio USA
Buttercups, there is a new facility going up for men!
And one existing center that is operating for women.

This is a sound and very helpful and needed facility Buttercups!

We can help! Facilities such as these certainly need financial support!
And there is a pressing need for help with addiction at this time.

Also, please pray for Cheryle McCourt, owner and for the other facilitators
at the Opal Houses!
I am certain that prayers are as welcome as donations of money and goods!

Ms. Cheryle McCourt is the owner and president of the Opal Houses.
These houses have been established to help men and women, who have completed drug and alcohol,
treatment programs, transition to independent living.

Money donations, of course: but also building supplies and furnishings.
The house(s) are furnished, but the men's facility does need: Drywall and Lumber!
As well as soft goods, twin bedding, towels, pots and pans: i.e. kitchen items.
Small tables to be used as desks in the bedrooms, etc.

Yet, it is estimated that 10% of our population is directly affected by opiate addiction, approximately 9000 people….. 9000!
Part of the solution is treatment and the last stage for continued recovery is transitional housing. A transitional home helps an individual transition from drug and alcohol treatment to ... ... read more ...
