For Patient's Health And Hospital Costs!

Hospitals Buying Real Estate

In order to cut hospital stay costs, and to provide better health care to the homeless, and for people with dementia, hospitals across the country are purchasing real estate!

Improper Housing

Patients who don't have proper housing can't be released from the hospital after treatment for sometimes chronic health conditions.

Persons suffering from dementia or who are homeless, can't be released, into the elements, after their hospital visits. They often-times need extended care in order to stabilize normal chronic health disorders. ~`Health Conditions Index

People living without shelter are 5 times more likely to be admitted to the hospital. And they will spend on average, 3 days longer in their stay. And 50% of these people will get re-admitted!

Caring for homeless individuals in a hospital creates a two-part problem, increased hospital costs and decreased space.

Taxpayers will also absorb this cost through increased health care expenses, as well as by way of tax-payer funded programs. And sometimes the hospitals pick up the tab.

Without proper housing people find it impossible to stabilize and properly maintain and recover from chronic health maladies!

Better Health Through Housing

A program called Better Health through Housing was launched in Chicago, Illinois in 2017 in order to help hospital patients in need.

Since it's inception, this program has brought about a 42% drop in hospital care costs!
Please pray for our homeless!

The organizers of the program say that if all hospitals could band together on this they could make a large impact!

An IRS rule would allow hospitals to write this cost off as charitable spending.

It Will Save Lives!

Doctors say this plan will save lives! The homeless have a lower life expectancy, as much as 30 years less!

The Cost Savings!

The wonderful ability to care for people, as well as the cost savings are tremendous!

An average overstay of 10 weeks costs a hospital approximately $200,000 dollars.

To house these same people, in a housing facility for one year would cost about $10,000 dollars!

Helps Consumers

This plan helps us the consumers to be able to pay lower insurance premiums, and also reduces the cost of other servics!

Helps Hospital Workers

There is another reward that results from this program. Health providers suffer from a burn out when they see people returning time and again, with the same or an advanced condition!

With proper housing in place, the providers can see the rewards of their work! People return to good health! ~`Health Solutions Dept.

On another note!

A friend of mine explained to me the importance
of soaking and chewing apricot kernels.
I've put together a video
that explains how to do this and, why you might wish to do this if you are using apricot kernels for your health!
