Your wedding day should be, and possibly will be one of the most important events in your life! For many people it is a big day filled with joy and also some stress!

The Wedding Party!
One of the decisions that has to be made in preparing for your wedding is, who should be in your wedding!The attendants need to be decided as early as possible so that you can proceed with the many other decisions that need to be made!
You And Your Fiance / Fiancee
The bride and groom should be the people who make this decision! But there are circumstances and other people who may wish to interfere with this part of the wedding!I will share with you the situations that came in to play in my wedding plans!
My Mother! Oh Boy!
My mom had made it her life's mission to bring her children together, and
our weddings were a place where she worked her plan into our lives! And she succeeded!
Looking back now, I can see more clearly that this happened, for all four of her
children. I'm the baby and the youngest of the four!
The 4 of us, each had all of the others in our weddings. I hadn't realized, until my wedding that my mother no doubt played a role in all four weddings! ~`Weddings Section
One wedding didn't go off as planned, they eloped; however we had gotten as far as ordering dresses for that wedding, if it had gone off as planned, the wedding party would have included all 4 of us!
Every Couple Is Different!
We all have different sized families, and possibly differing groups of close friends who will be taken in to consideration as wedding party attendants!
When it comes to weddings, there will be some glitches!While there were 3 siblings in my family, my husband had 11!
Be On The Same Page!
My husband, then fiance' said to me "I'd really like my sister to be in the wedding!"And I said, "oh yea! That would be great!
We had both of those sisters in the wedding!
This wouldn't be a problem however, there is that situation about my mom wanting my sisters in the wedding; and I have 2 of them!
That now calculates out to 4 women in the bridal party! Of course; that means 4 men in the bridal party!
So we are at a total number of 8 people!
Someone Asks To Be In Your Wedding
She didn't really ask me, she expected to be in my wedding!This was a younger relative; a niece. She assumed that she would be in the wedding!
And this may have been natural, however I hadn't expected to have 1 of the other 4 women as bridesmaids; but I couldn't tell this girl no! I love her!
She was around 18 years old! Too old to be a Junior Bridesmaid. And she would need a partner!
Oh boy!
We each had one brother in the wedding party and this brought in one more from my husbands side! His best man was not one of his brothers!And then we needed another man! My husband chose another friend!
Junior Bridal Attendants
We had two Jr. Bridal attendants! A niece and nephew that we were very happy to have as attendants! But you can see, how very fast the bridal party will grow!The Flower Girl and Ringbearer!
The flower girl, and the ringbearer are the best in the party!Huh!?
I had so much fun putting together the ring pillow and a floral-n-ribbon covered basket, with petals for the flower girl to carry!They were wonderful and such sweet and cute kids! They both did a great job for our wedding!
How It Turns Out!
It will always turn out well! And it is your wedding and you should and no doubt will have the most wonderful day!Looking back, it was best that I went with the whole thing! In this account, I count 14 in the bridal party 16 with myself and my husband. But I actually think there were 18.
I just can't at the moment recall who else was in it!
I don't have a wedding picture handy to look at right now. I never got around to making our wedding album!
But we are married 26 years now; and it's been working! Marriage isn't always easy but it is always good and well worth the struggle!
